Up late in your circuitry
mishandled your alchemy
red blue green
can't remember last new year's eve
except your morning TV
and my Stanley Kubrick dream
static vision transmitter
projects
a pixel scan of your head
I heard you laughin
broadcast
some lost station
thought I could find you on NBC
checked the signal in between
you always loved lucy
followed a phantom frequency
and hope to find away
through the cable
but you invade my set
just then
I turn to Channel 10
drinkin' with Sam and Diane
our friends
up 3 am
light pulse sends
new wavelength carrier
chrominance
interlaced in your TV land
it's good to see you again
my TV friend
been working to plan
a cast reunion
I scheduled repairs
with my cable man
love UFH
but you're made in japan

Dirtbag Transformation: "What is this?" was my first reaction. But what an amazing song. It reminds me a bit of the Pixies in how it pulls together dissonance and then resolves. malfunction54
"Flower Of Life" yanks riot grrrl south through the unmistakable garage psych sound indispensable to the last 20-odd years of rock music out of Los Angeles. Bandcamp Album of the Day Mar 2, 2023

A fantastic album. I can see why they didn't continue under the name The Evens, as it's a different sound with the bass added. Coriky is the Evens + Joe Lally from Fugazi on bass. If you can imagine The Evens with a slightly more funky, aggressive sound like Fugazi... that's what you get! And there's no way that can ever go wrong. What a great debut album!! smiledozer
